About Southside Kennels
We are a high-end boarding facility providing grooming and pet obedience training. We try very hard to establish positive relationships with the dogs that stay with us so that stress is minimal. We are continually interacting with them throughout the day.

Our Services
Boarding
We require a copy of your dog’s shot record to be on file with us during the stay. Current rabies vaccination is mandatory. During a dogs’ stay, we try very hard to establish positive relationships so that stress is minimal. We continually interact with the dogs in our care throughout the day. We have set times in the morning and in the afternoon for drop-off and pickup. Drop-off or pickup is also available by appointment for a fee.

Mon-Fri: 9am – 11am & 4pm – 6pm
Sat: 9am – 11am
Sun: 4pm – 6pm
Pet Obedience Training
We offer a two-week board/training program that includes basic skills such as sit, stay, heel, and come plus work on no jumping, rushing through doors, etc. During the latter part of the second week, it is important that you come for a lesson several times to learn the commands and transition of what they will learn from me to you. Your dog must work as well for you as they do for me.
Grooming
We are a full-service, award-winning, grooming salon. Our salon takes great pride in the quality of service that our team can provide for your pet.
Grooming service can usually also be arranged during a boarding stay.
Our Facility
Our facility is completely climate controlled, and each dog has its own indoor/outdoor suite. Dogs from the same family can interact with each other and be kenneled right next to each other. We do not allow dogs to interact in a group daycare/dog park setting. If a dog goes for a walk to potty, it will be with one of us in our dog yard and on a leash. The property has security cameras and video surveillance.
